Stilac is a superbly built boat with a well-balanced hull and it is extremely seaworthy. Its name was used as an acronym for quality in boat building. This boat of recent history has been well accepted by the shipbuilders community. Its construction and use for transporting all kinds of cargo was prevalent along eastern

Adriatic shores dating back to the 1850s. Stilac was used to connect many Croatian islands with the mainland. Its overall length is up to twelve meters and its deadweight is thirty tons. Stilac’s design is a combination of Bracera and Loger, two vessels widely used in the Adriatic.

Specifically, it has a bracera type stern and loger type bow. Its construction is typical for wooden vessels of similar sizes.
